Savoie, Rhône-Alpes

Savoie, which is a French department located in the Rhône-Alpes region in the French Alps. The department is crossed by the Isère river, which has its source in the Iseran pass.

Properties for sale in the department benefit from close proximity to tourist attractions such as the famous winter sports and summer resorts, the vast ski resorts attracting skiers from all over the world and the Vanoise massif, true paradise for the passionate about mountain hiking -a mix of rugged mountains, steep valley & glaciers. Lake Bourget (the Its two main lakes are largest and deepest lake entirely in France) boasts the spa town of Aix-les-Bains, possibly the most popular in France whilst Lake Aiguebelette is one of the least polluted in France due to a 1976 law forbidding any use of motorboats.
