BOUNDARIES of PROPERTY FOR SALE in FRANCE

Bornage-This is a process which involves boundary markers to establish the boundaries between two French properties.

Boundary markers called Bornes are put in place which determine the limits of a property.

This process is carried out either by agreement between two or more neighbours, or due to  intervention by a court of law.

The process can often be triggered when a French Property is advertised For Sale or when a notaire or purchaser is looking at the paperwork of a House in France being sold.
